We’re getting ready for Joy Story, our Toy Story themed Christmas series, as we celebrate the good news of great joy found in Jesus!

From decorating and sharing treats to singing, acting, and welcoming guests in costume, there are plenty of ways to join the fun. Take a look below and find your place in Christmas at The River!

The Christmas story is good news of great joy, and that joy has a name: Jesus.

This December, we’ll explore the joy of His arrival and what it means for our lives today, with a little Toy Story fun along the way!

ONE SHOW. ONE FULL HOUSE.

Sunday, December 6 | 11 am

We’re bringing everyone together for one Christmas Variety Show this year!

Our Littles and River Kids will be participating, and when kids sing, parents and grandparents show up! We’re looking forward to a full house and lots of energy.

The 11 am start gives families and everyone in the show time to arrive and go through one full rehearsal beforehand.

Snacks and treats will be served from a buffet table in the foyer.

SUNDAY MORNINGS, CHRISTMAS PRACTICE

Getting our Littles and Kids ready

Parents, our Littles and Kids will practice their songs and skits during their regular Sunday classes throughout November.

Having your kids there each Sunday in November will help them learn the songs and skits and give their leaders time to get everyone ready for the show.

Miss a Sunday? Join us late? Your child is still welcome to participate, even at the last minute! Each Sunday together simply gives everyone more time to prepare.

December 24 | 5 pm

Make Christmas Eve part of your family’s celebration! Join us at The River as we celebrate the birth of Jesus with music, communion and the "good news of great joy” that Jesus brings.
