Hey River Family,

I want to take a moment to honor someone who has been quietly faithful for a long time.

After four and a half years (since August 2021) of serving as our Preschool and Nursery Director, Kristin Muir will be stepping down at the end of February.

I just want to say this plainly. Kristin has been incredibly dependable.

She’s always been there. Week in and week out. Taking care of our preschoolers and our nursery, leading well, and making sure things were done right.

And if we’re honest, when someone shows up and does their job well for that long, it’s easy to start expecting it instead of appreciating it.

But we shouldn’t.

Kristin has done well by our kids. She’s been a steady, trusted presence in a role that really matters, and I’m personally very grateful for the way she’s served The River.

And when you see Kristin, make sure you tell her thank you for her faithfulness over these past four and a half years.
